Daniel Sebastião and João Gonçalves are working on the final deliverable from WP1 (D-1.4 – “Final Assessment on the Non-technical Drivers”) and on the 4WARD book. António Serrador as WP3 contact person has contributed to D-5.5 “Physical Layer Awareness” with Virtual Networks issues in the Physical Layer Awareness context; António Serrador has also contributed to D-3.2.1 “Virtualisation Approach: Evaluation and Integration – Update” as a reviewer. Filipe Cardoso has finished editing the additional deliverable D-5.5 “Physical Layer Awareness”. Also, a paper entitled “Physical Layer Aware Network Architecture for the Future Internet” has been submitted to IEEE Communications Magazine. Lúcio Ferreira contributed to deliverable D-5.3 “Evaluation of Generic Path architecture and mechanisms” with a chapter entitled “Wireless Mesh Networks: A design exercise for the GP Model”. Lúcio Ferreira was also the editor of deliverable D-5.4 “In Network Management for Generic Path”, presenting the achievements of WP4 & WP5 cross task.
COST2100 – http://www.cost2100.org
Luís M. Correia and Carla Oliveira are working on the COST book. Carla Oliveira is preparing a paper to be presented at the meeting in the June.
EARTH – http://www.ict-earth.eu
António Serrador has presented a contribution to WP3 report IM3.1 with algorithms on joint admission control and multi cell scheduling and management. Filipe Cardoso continues his work on the coordination of task T4.1, being focused on report IM4.1 preparation.
eMobility – http://www.emobility.org
Work on the document on the 5th Workshop on Applications and on the Applications chapter for the SRA is being conducted.
monIT – http://www.lx.it.pt/monit
A massive campaign of public information actions was conducted in schools and health services of Azores and Madeira islands. Further actions were also conducted at Santa Maria da Feira, Santo Tirso and for schools visiting IST (DEEC-Telecommunications). Regarding measurements, 6 more stations were installed in Lisbon, totalising 14 continuous monitoring locations in collaboration with the Municipality of Lisbon. Daily results from these stations can be seen in monIT’s website. In the course of this collaboration, a presentation/press conference was done on May 18th, announcing the results already obtained, having had quite a bit of media coverage (newspapers, radio and TV). On Prémio monIT, the list of the 10 finalist teams was announced on May 31st.
