News about the several projects in which GROW is involved.

EARTH – http://www.ict-earth.eu
Filipe Cardoso and António Serrador have contributed to the final inputs for the project review. António Serrador is developing a model where handovers in heterogeneous networks are used to save energy.

Net!Works – http://www.networks-etp.eu
Work on a Smart Cities white paper is ongoing.

NEWCOM++ – http://www.newcom-project.eu
Carla Oliveira and Michal Mackowiak contributed for the WPR1 presentation at the last project Dissemination Day, jointly organised with the COST 2100 meeting, on March 2-3 in Paris, France.

monIT – http://monit.it.pt
The team is working on the measurement section of the new website, which should be available soon. Eleven more information actions were held in February and more are scheduled for the coming months. Regarding Prémio monIT, training actions on the measurement equipment were given to s-ome groups. In the meanwhile, the deadline for the delivery of the second progress report is approaching (March 14th).

Daniel Sebastião and João Gonçalves are working on the next deliverable (D.A.7 “New business models and business dynamics of the future networks”). Within the Open Connectivity Work Package, Luísa Caeiro and Lúcio Ferreira are currently working on the definition of the architecture and network management theme.
