4. Projects
News about the several projects in which GROW is involved.
COST2100 – http://www.cost2100.org
The project has finished.
EARTH – http://www.ict-earth.eu
Within the context of Task 4.1 leadership by Filipe Cardoso, the most promising tracks issue is being discussed and will be finalised in the Santander general meeting that will be held on February. A document with an initial definition of the common track on MIMO EE Transmission, which integrates three different concepts (Relative MIMO gain, Precoding and Scheduling Techniques, and MIMO Modelling and Power-Performance Optimisation in Pico cells), was delivered. António Serrador issued a set of documents about the most promising tracks related with Task 3.3, additionally work is being prepared related to further simulations and track publications
eMobility – http://www.emobility.org
Work on a Smart Cities white paper is ongoing.
NEWCOM++ – http://www.newcom-project.eu
The project has finished its technical activity, and only a dissemination workshop is to be held.
monIT – http://monit.it.pt
Information actions continue to be one of the major action points for the Project. Seven more actions were held in January and more are scheduled for the coming months. The agenda is available on the calendar section of the new website. Also, monIT Project is already in Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Projecto-monIT/115728948482056) and Twitter (http://twitter.com/pmonIT), where all these events are presented.
SAIL – http://www.sail-project.eu
Daniel Sebastião and João Gonçalves finalised their work on Deliverable D.A.1 “Description of project wide scenarios and use cases”, and are now starting the work on the next deliverable (D.A.7 “New business models and business dynamics of the future networks”). Also, work on dissemination aspects is on-going with an updated list of conferences in the SAIL’s calendar. Luísa Caeiro and Lúcio Ferreira are preparing the inputs for the next meeting.
