Prof. Tad Matsumoto will be joining us on the september 25 for a seminar on Mobile Communications. Following previous initiatives, a Lecture on Mobile Communications, “Goal-Oriented Wireless Sensor Networks”, by Prof. Tad Matsumoto (Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), is taking place in room LT2, Torre Norte (4th floor), Instituto Superior Técnico, on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 11:00 am, organized by Instituto Superior Técnico with INESC INOV-Lab.
This week from Monday, July 21st to Friday July 25th, the CoDaS Summer School 2025 is taking place at the Auditorium of INESC INOV-Lab, Técnico Lisboa, Portugal. The CoDaS Summer School 2025 features a program of lectures delivered by experts in the area of communications engineering and data science, from both academia and industry. The objective is to give students an opportunity to catch up on the “hottest topics” related to the technical area of the CoDaS M.Sc. programme
The 11th MC Meeting and 11th Technical Meeting of the COST INTERACT European Project was held in Gothenburg, Sweden from 16th to 19th of June 2025. GROW member Bernardo Galego presented a paper entitled “EMF measurements in Lisbon’s public spaces revisited after 21 years”.

Prof. Luis M. Correia has participated in the Steering Committee of the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference – WCNC’2025. The 2025 edition was held in Milan, Italy from 24th to 27th of March. WCNC is the world premier wireless event that brings together industry professionals, academics, and individuals from government agencies and other institutions to exchange information and ideas on wireless advancement communications and networking technology.
Rohde & Schwarz has presented today, 10th of March, a seminar tour entitled “New Space. Advanced Measurements in High Frequencies and Materials Characterization. The seminar was held in IST Congress Center.
Prof. Luis M. Correia was a keynote speaker at the ICM2TS Conference on Mobile and Miniaturized Thz Systems, which was held in Dubai-UAE from 23rd to 26th of February 2025. He has presented an article on “Body Area Networks: from Applications to Channel
Models and Network Architectures in the THz Band”.
Bernardo Galego has presented a paper at the COST INTERACT European Project, held in Dublin, Ireland from 27th to 30th of January 2025. It was the 10th MC and 10th Technical Meeting of the project. GROW member Bernardo Galego presented a paper entitled “An empirical approach to extrapolate EMF radiation exposure levels from short term-averaged measurements”.
